Established in 2000, Bioglobal Limited was an unlisted Australian public company. It moved its operation to Shenzhen, China in January 2012.
Bioglobal’s primary objective is to invest in and commercialise Intellectual Property that will lead to the development of novel and profitable products for the biochemical pest and insect management markets. Bioglobal targets domestic and international market opportunities created by the trend to clean and sustainable products in the fields of crop protection, animal health and consumer products. Its current focus for marketing is China.
To achieve this, Bioglobal:
- Identifies and invests in quality research and development projects, as measured by a range of criteria including market potential, products that are generally recognised as safe (GRAS), profitability, regulatory frameworks and global application.
- Ensures optimal product outcomes through structured management of research and development projects and staged funding based on achievement of technical and commercial milestones.
- Balances the need for products with more immediate revenue generation with research and development of major category products that require longer time frames.
- Adds value to, and maximises, the intellectual property and commercial potential of its product portfolio by forging strong strategic arrangements with premier research institutions and major agrochemical distribution companies respectively.
